Virginia Freedom of Information Act for Members of Boards and Commissions (City of Charlottesville)
In order to best prepare members of public boards and commissions in Charlottesville, The Virginia Coalition for Open Government and Smart Cville is partnering with the City of Charlottesville to offer training on the Virginia Freedom of Information Act. The specific purpose of the training is to better arm those serving on boards and commissions with knowledge regarding this important law. The larger objective of the session will be to foster a spirit of transparency and openness among public boards and commissions in order to improve civic engagement and trust.
